One of the best pho I've had! The broth was light yet packed with depth and tasted super comforting. Also highly recommend their Vietnamese coffee which had a strong nutty flavor. Ordering is super convenient via a self-service machine, and they call out your name when your food is ready at the counter.

I will definitely be back soon! I’ve passed by this restaurant so many times and truly didn’t know what I was missing. The portions were massive and at a great price for the quality! Recommend the Bun Shrimp & Chicken or the Spicy Sweet Basil.

What a treat this was! I can honestly say this was the best Pho I have had. So, let me get into it! The food was amazing! I order the spring rolls and a pho. The spring rolls were one of the better ones I have had. The pho was the best tasting pho I have had. You could tell how much time they put into making the broth. I can honestly say it is the best Pho in the state of Illinois! All the ingredients were fresh and it made you want to keep eating. The service was okay. I felt the kiosk took away from the authenticity of traditional Vietnamese places. And one didn’t know when there order was up since it was hard to hear if one’s name was called. The atmosphere was great I like the spacing of the tables and how it was too loud that you could talk to one’s party and not have to worry about other people. Overall, I will say give MK noodle pho a try if you want one of the best PHO broths in the city / state!

The pho combo broth really hit the spot so we didn't need to add any other sauces. Beef in the pho was tender and there was no funky beefy aroma, smell, or taste. I believe they really do a nice job maintaining and prepping their meat. Pork banh mi and bun shrimp+chicken were all juicy and tender which paired nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables.

This is a super chill spot for delicious Vietnamese food in the Lakeview / Roscoe Village area. The interior is pretty spacious and has a good mix of people doing dine-in vs. take-out. For dine-in, you order at one of two kiosks, and they call your name once your order is ready. There is no table service, but the staff are super sweet and friendly. They were playing some great bops too— lots of SZA! I ordered the Bun Shrimp & Chicken Stir-fried Noodle Bowl, which was super tasty, especially after adding the provided sauce and some chili oil and hoisin sauce on the table. There were only a couple shrimps, but they were extremely flavorful and well-sauteed. The chicken was similarly flavorful and juicy. The noodles were perfectly cooked and slurp-able, the veggies were fresh, the peanuts added for a nice crunch, and the mint pieces were refreshing. My other friends similarly enjoyed their meals (some are pictured). One of my friends got the Bun Tofu Soy Chicken Stir-fried Noodle Bowl, and I tried one of the soy chicken pieces and it was amazing— I’ll definitely be getting that bowl the next time I come here. The prices are reasonable and the value is good, as the portions are large and will leave you full and satisfied. — Price (relative to peers): 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 5/5

Tired of going to uptown for some mid pho? So am I. You can get the same experience by going here and saving 10 more mins driving. The pho dac biet here is on par with most of the places on argyle. The serving size is quite big. Price is actually similar to argyle spots (~$15) even though it’s less out of the way. I got mine togo and they packaged it quite well. I have not tried any of the apps, rice dishes or bahn mis here.

Everything I’ve gotten here has been awesome. The noodle bowl is the best bet, but the banh mi makes a great light dinner. Super easy to order and they’re BYOB!

I didn’t go to MK in person, but after my experience, I DEFINITELY WILL! I got the pho with brisket, meatball, and raw beef. The raw beef seemed quite fresh, the brisket wasn’t overcooked like how it can be sometimes, and the meatball was average but still good if you like meatball. I am quite surprised that this place actually lives up to the hype because Chicago pho standards are quite low.. like yes Argyle is classic for good pho but I feel like every time I go there, my expectations are so through the roof that I end up feeling disappointed. Not for MK tho! They really hit the spot with the broth that tasted sweet and nicely balanced. Probably has a good amount of msg but regardless, still good. Portions are big as well. I didn't even order a large and I was able to fill up the majority of my mixing bowl. Yes I used a mixing bowl to eat this. I took a picture of the food but unfortunately it’s not when it was full.. I was so excited to eat that the pho pic I took is of half eaten pho haha. Overall a great experience :)
